At Sowentia, you can now pay for your orders in USDC , a stablecoin pegged to the US dollar. USDC payments are processed through a secure payment provider, directly from your compatible crypto wallet.

This page explains how it works , what the advantages are, and answers the main questions you may have.

1. What is USDC?

USDC (USD Coin) is a stablecoin : a cryptocurrency designed to track the value of the US dollar (1 USDC ≈ 1 USD). It is widely used in the crypto ecosystem for payments and fast transfers.

For you, this means you can pay for your Sowentia order using funds already in your crypto wallet , while benefiting from a relatively stable value compared to traditional currencies.

2. How to pay in USDC on Sowentia?

Payment in USDC is processed securely through our crypto payment partner. On the checkout page, you will see an option such as "Crypto.com Pay" or equivalent, depending on active integrations.

Steps to pay in USDC

Choose your products
Add your perfumes, cosmetics or watches to your cart, then click on Proceed to checkout .
Enter your information
Complete your details (email address, delivery address, etc.) as you would for a regular payment.
Select cryptocurrency payment
In the Payment section, choose the crypto option (e.g. Crypto.com Pay ), then follow the instructions displayed.
Confirm from your wallet
A window or QR code will appear. You can:
  • scan the QR code with your compatible wallet app, or
  • Follow the payment link to validate the transaction in USDC.
Once the transaction is confirmed, your order is validated.

Important: Depending on the wallet used, small network fees ("gas fees") may apply. These are specific to the blockchain used and are not collected by Sowentia.

🧾 Amount displayed in euros

The amount of your order will still be displayed in EUR on Sowentia. At the time of payment, the service provider will automatically adjust the amount to the equivalent in USDC.

4. Practical points & conditions

  • Display currency: Prices are shown in euros on the website. The payment provider automatically calculates the equivalent in USDC at the time of payment.
  • Order confirmation: as soon as the transaction is confirmed on the blockchain, your order appears as paid and you receive a confirmation email.
  • Refunds: In case of cancellation or return, refunds are processed on a case-by-case basis , in accordance with our refund policy. We will advise you of the most suitable solution (crypto or fiat currency).
  • Final amount: very slight differences may exist between the estimated amount and the final amount in USDC, depending on the conversion rates and the network used.

5. FAQ – Payment in USDC Cryptocurrency

Can I pay in USDC without a bank card?
Yes. If you already have a crypto wallet funded with USDC, you can pay directly from that wallet, without using a traditional bank card.
Any extra fee ?
Sowentia does not charge any additional fees for USDC payments. However, depending on the blockchain and wallet used, network fees (gas fees) may be applied by the network itself or by your wallet provider. These fees are beyond our control.
Is my order confirmed immediately?
Most transactions are confirmed within moments, but a slight delay may sometimes occur depending on network congestion. You will receive an email as soon as the payment is validated.
What happens in case of an error or payment problem?
If you encounter an error message or are unsure whether the payment was successful, do not immediately place a new order: contact us first with as much information as possible (amount, date, screenshot, transaction ID if possible).
Can I pay with a cryptocurrency other than USDC?
Depending on the options offered by our payment provider, other cryptocurrencies may be available (e.g., BTC, ETH, etc.). However, USDC remains the preferred and most suitable cryptocurrency for stable payments.
Are USDC payments secure?
